FUNDAMENTALS
The W. E. Skelton 4-H Educational Conference Center
at Smith Mountain Lake is an independent,
501(c)(3), non-profit charitable organization lead by a volunteer Board of Directors. Our purpose is to provide dynamic, research based, hands-on, learning experiences to 4-H youth, other youth, and adults that will enable them to become self-directing, contributing, and productive members of society. We provide this in a unique environment with quality programs and facilities. And, much of what we offer is due to generous funding provided by individuals, businesses, corporations, and foundations supporting youth development and education.
