Just to let you know a little bit about our facilities ...
We have both hotel and dormitory style lodges on site. We have three dorm style lodges that sleep up to 220 people. Two sleep 50 people each (Flora and Svoboda), while the third (Skelton-Hancock) sleeps 120. They are set up with three sets of bunk beds in each room, and community bathrooms. (Separate bathroom facilities for men and women can be created in all of these camp-style lodges.) When renting any of our dorm style rooms, we provide the group with a blanket and a pillow for each bed. Group members are responsible for their own sheets and towels; they may bring these items from home, or can rent a linen pack from the 4-H Center which includes sheets, towels, and a bar of soap. (These cost $5.25 per pack.) All dorm style lodges have heat and air-conditioning units in each room.
We also have two hotel style lodges on site. One has 38 rooms and the Skelton Suite (Reid Jones Jr. Lodge), while the other has 15 rooms and the Hepler-Jamison Suite (Hepler-Jamison Lodge). Both lodges sleep four people per room, but are set-up slightly different. The rooms in Hepler-Jamison are set up with two twin beds and one set of bunk beds. The rooms in the Reid Jones Jr. Lodge are set-up with two twin beds, one full bed, and one trundle bed. The suite in Hepler-Jamison has two double beds and a sofa sleeper, while the Skelton Suite has three queen beds.
The hotel style lodges are fully air-conditioned and have individual heating and air units, as well as a private bathroom in each room. The hotel style lodges can be prepared two ways: "camp style," as stated above where only a pillow and blanket are provided, or "conference style," where the twin and double beds are pre-made and linen packs are provided for any trundle or bunk beds being used. Conference style service also includes the following amenities: an ice bucket with tray and plastic tumblers, a clock radio, and limited housekeeping service. Both the Hepler-Jamison and Skelton Suites are prepared conference style at all times.
All lodging costs are based upon occupancy and are subject to 10% tax.See our complete Information Packet for more details and pricing.
